Well, I haven't done much in here for a while now... but I promise I did not forget about my challenge. I have been back in school for a week now and I realized how busy I am between classes, homework, observations, work, and of course my little girl, Alizee! So let's say that I don't really have the time to upload the pictures and explain all about what I did, etc. I'll wait a little longer to do that. However, I have been cooking a lot and doing some new and very good meals these last couple of weeks so here is my idea. In order to continue working on my cooking skills, I will simply put my meal plans on here every week to let you know what I am cooking, etc.
So let's start from the beginning of the year.
Week 1
Monday: Back from AZ. Sandwiches
Tuesday: Pizza + salad
Wednesday: Pasta bake + cucumbers
Thursday: Quiche (first time!!! I learned this over Christmas break, thanks to my brother-in-law!) + salad
Friday: Gratin dauphinois + peas + homemade meatballs (recipe from Nonna)
Saturday: fastfood!!! (I didn't want to cook that night!)
Sunday: Chicken curry + rice + salad
Well, I'll let you know soon what we had this week as soon as it's all done!

My challenge for 2012
Since 2012 is almost here, I decided to find something new that I would do regularly for this coming year. I am going to have a 52 weeks challenge which will consist of me making a new recipe every week and sharing it on this blog. This blog thing is also new for me, but I figured that it would help me and motivate me to write about it (probably an insight that came from the movie I watch about Julia Child !) Anyway, I am far from being a good cook, but being married for two years now I still feel that I lack some important skills in that domain.
P.S. I apologize in advance for all the grammar and other errors I'm going to make in my writing... English is not my first language, but I figured it could only (and hopefully) help me get better in that area as well!
